Driving Lessons Glasgow: What to Know

Parents in the Glasgow and the surrounding area who want to ensure that their children drive safely and appropriately should consider the services offered by the Simon Bell Driving School. This intuitive and rapidly growing driving school offers driving courses and training by experienced professionals. To find out which one of their services is right for you; take a look at the options below.

Driving Lessons Glasgow:

Simon Bell offers three different levels of driving lessons: standard, motorway and refresher. The standard lessons are designed to teach new drivers how to stay safe on the road, not only for themselves but for others as well. The life-long skills learned in the standard lessons will ensure this safety for your entire driving “career”. For best results, Simon Bell recommends that drivers take their 2-hour sessions. Two-hour sessions are short enough to allow for maximum absorption of knowledge and save you money in the long term as it takes less lessons to complete the course. However, you have the option of taking lessons 1-hour in length as well, with a frequency of 1-2 times a week or more. Simon Bell is a flexible driving school that accommodates people from a variety of backgrounds.

To take part in any of these lessons, you must be at least 17 years of age and have a Provisional driver’s license.  In addition to the standard lessons, Simon Bell also offers specialized instruction for driving on the motorway. During the instruction, you will be taught how to read signs and negotiate motorways in both rural and populated areas. Motorways can be scary to drive on for some people, but this 1-2 hour course can greatly improve confidence.

The final type of regular driving lesson offered by Simon Bell is the refresher lesson. This lesson is designed for people who want to increase their general driving knowledge. If you haven’t driven in some time, this is the course for you.

Intensive Driving Lessons Glasgow:

These 20, 30 and 40 hour courses are designed to chisel your driving skills for an upcoming test. In this one-on-one scenario, you will be under more pressure than you would normally be. The instructor will offer instant feedback on your driving skills and offer ways to improve them. You will learn a lot of information in a short time, so come prepared. For best results, you should take an intensive course 1-2 weeks before your upcoming test. Both the 30 and 40 hour programs require you to have a lesson at least six times per week. The driving instructor Glasgow will schedule the final session on the day than you take your driving exam. This way, you are completely prepared with all the information in your mind.
